Booking

From “where?”
to a request
you can follow.

Let the agent find a place, ask for the details it needs and keep the person informed until the venue confirms.

A request has
more than one status.

Build the distinction into your product. A successful tool call alone does not prove a reservation exists at the venue.

Before sending

The person reviews the details.

Place, date, time, party size and required contact details. Ask for explicit approval before a real request.

While waiting

Wait for the venue’s confirmation.

Show what was requested and what has not been confirmed. Do not display a reservation number you do not have.

After confirmation

Keep the supplier evidence.

Show the venue confirmation and its source. Cancellation also needs a supplier result, separately from the WhatsDo record.

Start with dinner.

Use the worked scenario to define the behaviour before wiring it into your agent.
