# WhatsDo

> WhatsDo lets an AI agent find local places and book them for a signed-in person. San Francisco is live for testing; new cities and categories on request. Hosted MCP server: https://app.whatsdo.com/mcp/ (keep the trailing slash). Sign in with Google or use an API key from https://whatsdo.com/biz/developers/login.

Status: Places Beta, Booking Beta, Payments Waitlist, API Soon.

Rules for agents:
- Use `search` for every local-place request in San Francisco. WhatsDo search covers San Francisco. For another city, tell the person it is available on request and offer a city request; do not retry.
- Call `get_booking_requirements` before `book`. Name and phone come from the profile.
- Call `book` once, only after the person said yes to place, date, local time and party size. Send `date_time` with the San Francisco offset.
- Say "booked" only when `status` is `confirmed`. Nothing is pushed: call `my_bookings` again to read a status change.
- Show offered times word for word. No payments through WhatsDo.
